Finally! I have finished one month of my 365 :) I took a picture every single day for the entire month... I'm giving my self a pat at the back :) So far I am really happy with all the images I took for this month. I hope I have given some nice ideas and hopefully motivate the inner photographer in all of us.

              These are my Blue Agastache and my Black Eyed Susans flowers...Make my white balance a little bit warmer..

 My kids had half a day yesterday and today there was no school due to the snow storm, Kids stayed inside warmed while dad and mom shoveled some snow...

                                                         She is officially 10
Our little girl is in double digits now!!!  She turned 10 today.  I still can't believe it!  This girl is our first blessing to us.

She wants to always live with me!!  That sounds just fine with me.  Although when she is 35, I'll let you know.  I am so proud of her for all that she is, all that she will do, and all the extra struggles she goes through.  Happy Birthday sweet girl!  Always keep that sweetness!

Since my  son was 2 years old, THE INCREDIBLE HULK has being his favorite toy...

He used to call him cow...he used to say "Mom when I grow up, I am going to be green and strong just like Hulk"...He is now 7  and he still asks for Hulk toys...

  Happy with my Splash. I promise this will be the last one....well for a few days...

Next time, I will have the whole glass on the picture..The water is a little bit out of focus too, I will have to use something to focus on top of the glass..I used ice cubes for this one because I needed it something Transparent and it works really nice..At the beginning I used  a lemon and the color green was reflecting on the water and glass, so I stop for a moment and thought of  ice..I wish I could've have taken more pictures,but the temperature outside is really cold...I will keep practicing for a few more days..

My first attempt trying a SPLASH ......Not bad for a first time...

What I learned:
1)You need to do this thing outside because you will have to try several times to get the perfect SPLASH...
2) Instead of coffee I used two cans of Coca Cola...
3) you need to fill your cup almost to the edge...
4) I used strawberries for the drop, but as you can see my splash where not that big, Then I tried green lemons and I got  big splashes, but then I ran out of soda right way...
5) make sure, your camera is far enough not to get wet..
6)Remember to adjust your focus to anticipate it ahead of time...In my case I focus on the cup...
7) you need a tripod to avoid blur, but since I don't have one, I set my camera on something stable..

Camera settings:
ISO 800     F2.5   SP 800 The key is a  high shutter Speed
Next time I will try a lower ISO and higher SP....

My first time shooting the sunset....I was so excited and when I arrived to the beach to my surprise the sun was on the left side by the bridge, I was so disappointed, I don't know what was wrong with me, I was expecting the sun to be right in the middle of the beach...You know like those beautiful cards....

 Today I tried to get pictures of the sunset and I actually went to the beach, but they were so many clouds and no sun at all....I will try tomorrow...

I remember last year wishing to figure how to get a dark background like this one...Its not perfect ,but I am glad with the results....

               After I made some simple adjusting to the image.. I clicked on the saturation slide and adjusted all the colors to make them more vibrant..Then I clicked on the adjusting brush and selected exposure .....made the whole image dark and then I erased  my subject to bring it back...this process made the background a little bit darker...

Today I went out of my comfort zone despite the cold...
I really love the experience, I might go back on Friday at sunset...
All pictures were taken with a Nikon 50 1.4 mm

This place is not far from my house, I could go walking in Spring, In my way back I saw a lot of ducks, but to take pictures of them I would need a zoom lens ,I might we use My 55-200 next time..
